The Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl is this Saturday!

Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl in partnership with Downtown Sudbury and the Sudbury Arts Council. 20+ venues featuring visual art and artists, pop-up acoustic music performances, and more. Take a stroll and experience the artistic vibrancy in and around the downtown core this Saturday, December 7, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m..


11:30 am–3:30 pm: Pop Up! Acoustic music performances by Sara Gibson + additional musicians TBA at select DSAC venues – in partnership with Downtown Sudbury – check the DSAC Facebook page for schedule.

3pm: NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action NISA Choir Performance at the Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl at Kuppajo Espresso Bar, 109 Larch St. lead by Darlene – local singing extraordinaire – experience some joyful and festive tunes featuring the latest NISA choir!

Art Gallery of Sudbury – 251 John St. (at Nelson St.)

Featuring The Art of Quilting | L’Art de la courtepointe with 51 new textile works that demonstrate needlework techniques, including quilting, piecing, paper piecing, fabric origami, thread painting, applique, needle felting and stitchery, by members of the Sudbury and District Quilting & Stitchery Guild.

Laughing Buddha – 194 Elgin St.

Featuring Shawn Robichaud (painting). Shawn Robichaud is an emerging Sudbury artist, already having received International recognition as well as winning several Awards with the Federation of Canadian Artists and International Artist Magazine.

The Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl (DSAC) is a grassroots, pedestrian-friendly cultural experience for the city of Greater Sudbury in and around the downtown core. DSAC features artists at venues such as art galleries, artist studios, businesses and organizations. DSAC celebrates visual and other art forms including literary and musical arts. We seek to create opportunities for artists to exhibit, sell, exchange ideas and to raise awareness about their creative processes.
