What’s Happening at Your Library

There are so many exciting things happening at GSPL these days! We are busy taking The Forest of Reading® into classrooms across the city (you can get in on the fun too!), Graphic-Con will be held on June 9th, and as always, we continue to offer an amazing variety of free programs and events for adults, children and everyone in between. Don’t forget to spring ahead on Sunday, March 11th!

An Evening with the Poet Laureate
Join Chloé LaDuchesse for a social evening of poetry and chatter. Drop in to the Reader’s Lounge at the Main Library the first Tuesday of each monthbetween 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM to meet Chloé. Bring your poetry and get tips from the new poet laureate.

March Break Activities
It’s interactive and it’s entertaining! Join us at any one of our 13 library locations to take part in March Break programsthis year. We have lots of activities taking place for kids of all ages. Please register in advance.

Join us at Science North on April 14thfrom 10 AM to 4:30 PM for workshops, demos, spectacle, shopping, and play! Registration is now open for your free ticket (why not purchase a VIP ticket?) and to sign up for workshops online. Come out and meet our new Maker-in-Residence!
